EL INVENTOR DE LA LOCOMOTORA A VAPOR GEORGE STEPHENSON FUE CONVOCADO EL 26 DE ABRIL DE 1825 ANTE EL PARLAMENTO BRITÁNICO PARA INTERROGARLO SOBRE LA LOCOMOTORA A VAPOR POR ÉL INVENTADA Y SU PELIGROSIDAD.

LE PREGUNTARON:

_ “¿QUÉ PUEDE PASAR SI UNA LOCOMOTORA QUE VA A LA VELOCIDAD MÁS QUE RÁPIDA DE OCHO (8) KILÓMETROS POR HORA ENCUENTRA UNA VACA EN LA VÍA? ¿NO SERÍA UN CASO MUY GRAVE?”

STEPHENSON RESPONDIÓ:

_ “SÍ, MUY GRAVE PARA LA VACA.”
